GIBICTS NGO provides intervention for the underprivileged in our communities to seek for quality medical care beyond their financial abilities. The NGO also organizes free health screening programs for the communities.
This program reaches out to people who do not get the opportunity to do checks ups on their health, due to financial constraints. Through these health screenings, people are able to identify errors with their health for free and remedies as such are given to them. GIBICTS as well supports patients who are unable to afford immediate and crucial medical care; such as surgeries.
Abu Sampson, a 1 year old boy suffered from progressive head enlargement since birth. After diagnosis it was confirmed that he was suffering from Hydrocephalus (a condition of the brain), for which he needed to undergo surgery. A total amount of GH₵4,400 was needed for the surgery. GIBICTS Foundation came to the aid of our little brother and paid fully for the surgery. The surgery which was conducted at the Komfo Anokye Teaching Hospital, Kumasi has been successful and Sampson is recovering well by the grace of God. We continue to seek for your support and donations towards the success and wellbeing of GIBICTS.
