 With extensive experience in web design and development, software programming, and a mission-driven mindset, Fred has spearheaded projects that empower communities and organizations to work more effectively.
Beyond technical leadership, Fred actively supports GCCYD initiatives, including mental health awareness, educational programs, and community outreach, reflecting his commitment to leveraging technology for social good.
Role & Responsibilities
As Head of IT, Digital Platforms, Fred leads the design, development, and management of GCCYD’s digital infrastructure. His responsibilities include:
- Developing and maintaining GCCYD’s websites, digital tools, and online platforms
- Implementing technology solutions that improve organizational efficiency and outreach
- Ensuring that all digital platforms align with GCCYD’s mission, branding, and accessibility standards
Fred’s work ensures that GCCYD’s online presence is professional, engaging, and scalable, supporting both local and international initiatives.
Background & Experience
Fred holds a Bachelor of Science in Biomedical Engineering and a strong foundation in technology, with formal training in web design and software engineering. He has led multiple projects that bridge technology and social impact, including building digital platforms for healthcare systems, and NGO operations.
Through a habit of continuous learning, and collaboration with professionals across engineering, healthcare, and NGOs, Fred has developed the technical and strategic capacity to lead GCCYD’s digital platforms with both competence and purpose.
