MESSAGE FROM THE FOUNDER to VOLUNTEERS
The world we live in is filled with miseries on every side. When we listen to the daily news, we realize the sufferings that need to be eased, wrongs to be corrected, and lives to be made better. The world needs to be a better place, but it takes a heart of peace, love, and understanding to take the first step in achieving this. Most people yearn to see someone take a positive step to create meaningful living. It takes sacrifice, enthusiasm, and a sense of compassion.
Our efforts to help others ultimately help ourselves, so we must let the passion to see a smile on the faces of the less privileged be our hallmark. You are the one who can create good news in the world. Inside you lies the ability to put a smile on someone’s face, help another, and bring solutions to problems in this world. Everyone can make a difference, no matter how small it may seem. It is with this yearning that GIBICTS Center for Community and Youth Development has set out to improve the well-being of the less privileged in our various communities. You can also contribute in any way you can to help make the world a better place. LET’S DO THIS TOGETHER!

Volunteers play a vital role in communities and the lives of youth across the GCCYD network. We review all volunteer applications with consideration of current opportunities. The information you provide will be stored confidentially under the provisions of the Data Protection Act. Your completed form will be held securely and only authorized staff will have access to your information.
